This Laser Distance Sensor is Meskernel's super small Phase Distance Sensor, it works by measuring the distance between the sensor and an object, based on the time difference between the emission of a signal and its return to the sensor, after being reflected by an object.

Based on this measuring principle, the LDL Laser Range Finder Module adopts the eye-safe laser with low power level and is capable of measuring distance of 20 meters with high accuracy of 1mm. It is small in size and lightweight in design, the LDL is a versatile tool which can be used in many fields such as for geographical measuring, target detection, surveying and mapping and for industrial automation.
