  • Activate the serial port debugging tool: Launch software like JRT debugging software to enable the computer's serial port.
  • Adjust serial port settings: Within the serial port debugging tool, select the appropriate serial port number and baud rate.
  • Transmit commands: Following the sensor's communication protocol, issue relevant commands to the sensor, such as requesting distance data.
  • Retrieve data: Await data feedback from the sensor, and observe the received data within the serial port debugging tool. Analyze and process the data as per the sensor's communication protocol.
